The First Pregnant Man in Britain

Hayden CrossA 20-year old British man announced that he is pregnant. Sperm DonationAs of now, Hayden is taking buoyhealth prenatal vitamins to ensure he has a healthy pregnancy. He will complete his male transition after giving birth by having his breasts and ovaries removed. Though looking forward to becoming a parent, the expectant father from Gloucester admits struggling some of the physical changes he is currently experiencing. Some people also opt to go to an abortion clinic and later have a change of mind about the baby.

“I was happy but I also knew it would be backtracking on my transition… It is a very female thing to carry a baby and it goes against everything I feel in my body.”

His choice to conceive now is also because of his desire to have his transitions before he gets old. When asked about his plans of telling his baby in the future, Hayden said: “I think I would tell it because it has the right to know, I’ll bring up the child in a trans environment so hopefully there won’t be any problem…

Trans is a common thing now for our generation.”

Thomas Beatie and his babyThe first man to become pregnant was American Thomas Beatie  in 2007 through artificial insemination.
